It’s mid summer and it’s a hot one! A helpful way to cool off a little is to highlight your windows with updated cellular shades, which can help with climate control and with energy efficiency. And, if you’re looking for a few tips to brighten your home this summer, or even make it more appealing if you’re considering listing soon, July and August are great months for a fresh coat of paint, both inside or out.*

This summer is flying by, and the real estate market in the Denver metro area continues on a steady pace of low inventory and strong demand. However, compared with the beginning of the year, the market is feeling a little more balanced as August approaches. Two indicators of this are that price reductions have shown a steady increase this past month and active listings have topped out over 3000 for the first time months. Although the average price of a single family home is right around $728k, if you're considering purchasing a new home, you may find comfort in the forecast that prices could soften a little during the second half of the year.

Stay cool while you make the most of your summer! And reach out to me with any questions.
